Light what is it?

Light what is it ? My cat chases it .Thomas Kincaid tries to capture it.It is a source of life and death .Darkness can't overtake it. All cultures respect it.It represents hope.

Light has become a reoccurring theme in my prayer and study life recently.During times of prayer the spirit has prompted me to pray for God's light for and on several areas . Our country,the upcoming election,my church and its leadership,the lost ,the hopeless . The truth is always seen in God's perfect light. More than ever we need Him to expose the lies that hide in the darkness. Today as I studied his word He wanted to talk some more with me about light.The passage directly spoke to some of the areas I have been praying about. As for the election and leadership He took me to Daniel 2 : 21-23 in those words He told me He sets up kings(leaders,presidents) and the light is with Him. In Romans 13:12 we are promised the night is nearly over,then we are instructed to put on our armor of light. I never knew there was an armor of light.Then in a God style grand finally of my studies today He showed me in Genesis 1:3 how the very first thing He spoke into existence was.....you guessed it light! I am not sure where all of this is leading me . What I do know is when God keeps showing up like this He is revealing Himself to me . I can't wait to see where He takes me .He has my full attention.
